Our 11′ × 17′ × 18′, 11,000-lb installation tool demonstrates EMF's capability to manufacture both precision components and massive assemblies. This ground support equipment operates at Kennedy Space Center for assembly of NASA's Orion crew vehicle.
The assembly underwent functionality and proof-load testing at both sub-assembly and full assembly levels before transport and integration at Kennedy Space Center. The project spans precision machining, fabrication, testing, and on-site integration.
